Brett J. Balcerak, PT, MPT

Brett was born and raised in Baytown, Texas. He attended Lee College and Northwestern State University on baseball scholarships. It was his experience and exposure to sports related injuries that ultimately guided him to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Sciences from the cooperative program in Physical Therapy between The University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston / The University of Texas – El Paso in 1994 and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1996.

Brett’s clinical interests lie in general orthopedic rehabilitation with a special interest in shoulder/elbow conditions. Brett worked in corporate based healthcare for 3 years prior to going into private practice in 2000. He founded Rehabilitation Services of Baytown (2000) and Liberty/Dayton (2002).

In 2007 he founded PhysioStaff, LLC, a physical therapy management and staffing company, which currently manages physical therapy services at liberty-Dayton Regional Medical center in Liberty, Bayside Community Hospital in Anahuac, West Chambers Medical Clinic in Mont Belvieu and provides Out-Patient Physical Therapy at Altus Hospital/Baytown.

When Brett is not working he enjoys spending quality time with his big family. His personal interests are road-tripping, travel, camping and basically anything coastal.
