Norma obtained her Associate of Applied Science degree from Houston Community College before becoming licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She became interested in physical therapy as a career while helping to care for her mother who was battling cancer. Norma enjoys treating all types of conditions but has a special love for geriatrics. She has over 34 years of experience in the field and has worked in several therapy facilities across Texas. Norma has had the opportunity to work in hospitals, nursing care facilities, outpatient clinics, and home health care. Her father resided in a nursing home and suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, so Norma knows firsthand the importance of compassionate restorative care. When Norma isn’t working, you’ll find her dancing Zydeco, volunteering at her church, or enjoying her family.
